Hifas da Terra is participating in AI-VIDDA, a collaborative research project bringing together organisations specialising in biotechnology, technology, education and services for older people.
The project is funded through the FEDER Galicia 2021–2027 programme and forms part of the Smart Specialisation Missions of Galicia, RIS3 2021–2027.
The consortium includes Hifas da Terra, Geriavi–DomusVi, Balidea Consulting & Programming, Academia Trinidad, Niucom 180 and Inovalabs Digital.
Hifas da Terra’s contribution
Hifas da Terra contributes its experience in fungal biotechnology and the research and analytical characterisation of mushroom-derived ingredients.
The work carried out within AI-VIDDA includes the study of research methods, analytical processes and the use of data-based technologies. Artificial intelligence will be explored as a tool for processing and interpreting information collected during the project.
Collaboration across different areas of expertise
AI-VIDDA combines the knowledge of organisations working in biotechnology, digital technology, education and services for older people. This multidisciplinary structure enables the consortium to examine how different research tools and technological approaches can be integrated within a common project.
For Hifas da Terra, participation in AI-VIDDA forms part of its continuing commitment to research, technological development and collaboration with external organisations.
Research is an ongoing process. Participation in this project does not, by itself, demonstrate that a mushroom-derived ingredient or commercially available food supplement provides a particular health benefit.
